Jewell County (pop. 2,932) is a rural county located in north central Kansas. It is home to the communities of Burr Oak, Esbon, Formoso, Jewell, Mankato, Randall, and Webber, and the unincorporated communities of Ionia and Montrose. Its county seat and largest city is Mankato, and it is served by the Rock Hills USD 107 School District.
